A Great Friday!

Good Friday is a day mixed with tremendous joy and agony.  It is a day we all need to cherish and hold fresh in our minds.  If you ever see the movie the Passion of Christ, a memory will be imprinted that is hard to forget.  Seeing our loving savior suffer like that is the agony.  The joy comes from knowing he willingly chose to suffer and die the way he did because he loved me and wants me to be with him forever in eternity is mind bending.  Because of his great suffering I get eternal paradise.  Only a loving God could chose such an incredible method for us all to understand how much he cares for you and me.

On a much lighter note, we have a signed purchase agreement to sell our house in Minnesota!  Alleluia!!  We are trying not to get our hopes up too much, because in this day and age many deals fall through when it comes to getting final financing for the buyers.  But right now things look very promising.  They want to close in mid May.  Please be praying this deal gets done!

I want to encourage everyone today to go to a Good Friday church service if you can.  If you cannot please take a little time to just sit and contemplate the degree of suffering Jesus went through on Good Friday; physically, mentally, and spiritually.  The details of that day are incredible.  Bottom line, he did all this for you!  It is a very humbling thing to realize.
