We had a wonderful service today at HRCC! About 40 people attended our breakfast before the service. A lot of different families pitched in, the food was very good. The service was done very well; an additional 20 people joined us for church. We opened and closed the service with some classic Easter hymns and sandwiched three contemporary worship songs in between! Pastor Kyle did a great children's sermon, plus a really poignant sermon for the adults. If you would ever want to listen to pastor Kyle's sermons you can check them out at www.rockiescc.org. Nancy did a super job leading Sunday School for the kids today. Many of the folks stuck around at least an hour after the service just talking and snacking on breakfast leftovers. It was a great first Easter Service for us at HRCC.
The good news is we had two brand new visitors today, and 4 people who have come before but I had not seen in a couple weeks! Regardless of the number of people at HRCC; it was great to be with a bunch of people celebrating Easter.
This afternoon we are going to have an Easter egg hunt with the Gilmore's! Donna is also making a very nice Easter Supper tonight! The weather is warm and sunny today...should hit between 50-55 degrees.
We wish you all a happy Easter. Blessings
Jim
