We had a nice trip to AZ. It was hot, and the evenings only cooled down to around 80 degrees. It was wonderful feeling that warm air! Jim's folks have done so much work on their new trailer and it was very comfortable. We enjoyed our time with them very much. Jim's Grandpa Lyle and Grandma Jean are having a rough time of it. They live in Sun City, AZ and it was a blessing for us to be able to spend some time with them this trip. Neither are in great health, and it was a reality check for me. All of us - ready or not - will one day come face to face with Christ. It that exciting or frightening? For me it is both. The process of ones body ceasing to work is frightening, and not something I want to experience. But, what do you do???
On our drive back to CO, our family listened to The Truth Chronicles - Adventures in Odyssey. If any of you are familiar with the Truth Project that Focus on the Family has put out - these CD's are along the same lines ~ only for kids. They talk about world views, and what it means to have a Christian world view. Assumptions vs. fact, and how so much of what we hear, watch and learn about our world are assumptions. All this in story form. What I am saying is - if you have kids - no matter the age - these are awesome!!! I really recommend them!
Jim and I celebrated our 19th anniversary today.
Our 20 year COLLEGE reunion was this year. Is it possible that we are in our 40's now?? When did that happen?!!
The girls and I are back at the school thing this week. Vacations are really nice!
As usual - we would welcome a visit with you anytime.
Blessings!
