Still Blowing......

It's been amazing the amount of cold wind that has been blowing here in the Banana Belt!  It has been MN type cold!  The winds were around 25 mph at our new place - so needless to say - no one has been able to put up tresses!  This has been going on for two weeks!  It is funny though - everyone who has been here for any length of time has told me how unusual this is.  Let's hope!  All the rooms of the house are framed, and I am told the front porch was poured this week.  I think electricity has been run from the box to the house.  What else can you do???

I have enjoyed a few 40 degree afternoons though (windy, but not -40!)  We have had some great snowball fights, and very muddy walks!  I am surprised that Jim has been able to get anywhere with the Passat.  I have the Taho in four wheel drive a lot just to get down the drive way.  It's a giant slip-n-slide!

I am trying to figure out how to add a slide show to this blog - but haven't got it together yet. It's coming.
Everyone is fine here right now.  Bekah slept all day - can you spell EXHAUSTION???  All that time with cousins can be draining!
I have enjoyed my nieces and nephew, and am so grateful for my families love and hospitality. It's been a lot of great times!
More later.......

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! Get out the snow shovels. We have a couple inches of new fluffy snow from last night. Fun and busy as usual. I start my new job on Monday, the 18th. I'm very excited. We had our small group meeting at the Whitley's last night. Kristen makes the best desserts! We're still praying for your house to sell and for the weather to mellow out so you can continue building your new house. Wish you were here so I could bring you some yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting. Have an extra special day! Love from all of us!!

We will be in Colorado on Saturday. Are you ready for us? Just kidding, we have an hour layover on the way to AZ. I don't think I have ever been to Colorado before. We are all looking forward to getting to AZ to see mom and dad and soak in some heat. Sounds like we are going to do some 4 wheeling.

Things at church are going well. Still learning the video stuff. I learned the hard way you shouldn't day dream during Henry's sermon when you are shooting. He stood up and I didn't move for a few for a few seconds. That darn ADD! Dnan and I are leading a team down to Rushford in April.

I talked with one of our partners who is selling homes in Cambridge and he said the parade of homes was REALLY slow do to the cold weather.

Keep the faith your home will sell soon. I shopped on realtor.com and compared your house with others. It seems priced right. You description makes the house sound smaller than it really is. I guess it is from not counting all the unfinished square footage. Maybe you should say some about the pond?

Keep the blog going. I usually check it every day.

Romans 12:2

Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.  Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.
